A special toll free service for companies that receive
a lot of calls from within their state for just 5.9 ¢/min.

Instate800 doesn't come with seperate voicemail, but nearly all cell phone services include voicemail.  So if you point your toll free number to your cell phone, it'll go into your cell phone voicemail if you don't answer it.  That's the cheapest solution.

If you want the caller to hear a different message, I've built a separate site that talks about and explains the different types of voicemail at TollFreeVoicemail.com

There are some voicemail services that include toll free numbers, but they are generally more expensive.  One smart tip is that if you already have voicemail on a local number that's probably the most economical solution.

I'm working on a complete Voicemail Comparison Guide but in the mean time, the best basic voicemail service for most applications is through SmartVoicemail.com. It’s only $4.95 per month and 6.9 cents per minute.  I worked very closely with the developers of that service and it's a great value and has a lot of features.  Another good voicemail / virtual office service worth checking out is FreedomVoiceSystems.com which is easy to use and can make you sound like a larger organization, although it's slightly more expensive.

If you have any other questions check out our Frequently Asked Questions or email us at .  But the bottom line is that the Instate800 is the best toll free service to use if most of your calls come from within a higher rate state.
